Where can I get a good photoshop download?

I'm a photographer, and I've been used faststone for editing my pictures, but I need something better, and it needs to be free. Any suggestions?Where can I get a good photoshop download?

These are all free OpenSource image editors, the ones most commonly recommended. Photoshop itself is NOT free, except for the 30 day trial.Where can I get a good photoshop download?
Adobe Photoshop CS3 would be the best choice if you can afford to plop down $649.00. Its the only program out that can handle any problem that you may come up against. You can even free hand paint in it, a lot like the way it's done in Corel Painter. It is well worth it.

You can download Photoshop free from their website, but this is only a trial version. Downloading it elsewhere is illegal. You can, however, download GIMP, a free image editing software. It works much like Photoshop, but like all software, it takes some getting used to.

There are only two Photoshops available at this time. Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop Elements v. 6, neither are free.





If you are a working photographer, you may want to spend some money on the Elements version of Photoshop (under $90).





After spending thousands of dollars on your equipment and then trying to go cheap on your computer and software is not a good business plan
99% of what a photographer needs can be found in photoshop elements 6.0.





I'm agreeing with mr. fhotoace a lot today. If you are a photographer, as you claim, you do not want to skimp on your tools. Elements at under $100 is a great tool to have.
