I dont want to do torrents i was just wondering sence when versions are out dated that they become discounted that if there is a old but free version.Is there a version of adobe photoshop that is old but free?

If you're in no rush, you could find one in a garage sale, or via Craigslist. Perhaps even a second hand bookstore with a software section.
I think the much older versions weren't registered the way they are now, so you wouldn't even need to make sure that they had been un-registered first.
Photoshop is not free. Take a look at GIMP the open source alternative.

there are no free versions, but if you can find or download a copy of Photoshop 7 with the CD Key you can install the program.
Not that I know of. You can download Paint.NET from http://paint.net It's free and does just about everything Adobe Photoshop CS2 can do.
