How can you put diffrent back rounds on your pics without using photoshop?

i want to add cool bacck round from the internet and stuff to the backdrop of my pics.How can i do that and i have no photoshop:(How can you put diffrent back rounds on your pics without using photoshop?
Well, uh...you can us MS Paint, but it'll be a little hard.


Select the ';free form select'; tool (kinda looks like a deformed star with a dashed outline). Outline the object you want to keep. Once you're done, right click and copy it. Paste it onto the background picture you want it on. There might be an easier way to do it, but I'm not sure.
