How can I make a gif file with Photoshop CS3 Extended?

I know there is an animation tool or something like that. I don't know where to find it. If you can, please give detailed information.How can I make a gif file with Photoshop CS3 Extended?
When you open Photoshop CS3, go to Window


then select Animation in the drop down menu....

I believe it's possible using layers for each frame if it's an animated GIF file. Check the PhotoShop help files for a detailed description of this method.
