Picnik, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, now has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collages, to put your photo into other images. There are a number of tools that allow you to put the image of a face into other photos for some fun creations. Check out the links below for more ideas.

If you just want to do some basic effects to your pictures, the best way to go without getting viruses would have to be a trial.


These usually last around 30 days; you get them from the website.

However, there's an online service called ';photoshop express'; that is probably the best choice.


It's a great tool for just touching up some photos and I really recommend it. Great for people new to photoshop too!

You may need to google some tutorials, such as ';change hair color'; or fancy things like add color effects, retouch your photos, things like that.


The regular photoshop would work with these tutorials.
